insurance coverageTo determine which type of insurance you have PPO, HMO or EPO will be printed on your insurance card. If it's not printed on your card you can call your insurance company to determine the type of plan you have. PPO insurance will only cover home birth and holistic gynecology. All other insurance will not cover home birth, holistic gynecology, postpartum & lactation home visits, craniosacral therapy and insemination services.

PPO InsurancePPO insurance will reimburse for home birth and holistic gynecology. Lab work and ultrasounds are included and no payment is needed upfront. To receive insurance reimbursement contact our insurance biller to submit a claim to your insurance company after services are rendered. The amount of insurance reimbursement is determined by your plan, deductible and copay. To determine your insurance coverage check your insurance benefits. Commonly, the “out-of-pocket” expense is thousands below the cost of a hospital birth.

Medi-Cal, Kaiser, HMO, EPO & no insuraNceMedi-Cal, Kaiser, HMO & EPO's do not cover home birth or holistic gynecology services. Lab work and ultrasounds are covered by Medi-Cal, HMO, EPO insurance.
For Kaiser and no insurance coverage we offer a low cost lab & ultrasound providers. Those with Kaiser can perform lab work and ultrasounds through Kaiser to avoid additional fees. |
paymentFor home birth services everyone is offered a payment plan. The balance is due by 36 weeks gestation. A $1500 deposit is required to secure your place in our practice. We accept cash, personal check, FSA, HSA and venmo. Credit cards are accepted with a 4% processing fee.
For all other services payment is due at time of booking via credit card. |
